چکیده

Theconceptofgamificationusesthehumanbehaviorofindulgingingamingactivitiesandcombinesit withtheirworkwiththepurposeofenhancing,employeeengagement.Gamemechanicsanddynamics areabletopositivelyinfluencehumanbehaviorbecausetheyaredesignedtodrivetheplayersabove theactivationthreshold.Achievements,appointments,bonuses,levels,pointsaresomeofthegame mechanicswhichareusedforinfluencinghumanbehaviorandhumandesires.Thesehumandesires havebeenreferredtoasgamedynamics.TheapplicationsofGamificationrangefrombeinguseful intheinternalorganizationalprocessesofrecruitment,employeerecognition,employeeperformance, trainingprograms,wellnessandsafetyaswellascustomerorientedapplicationsofbuildingbrand loyalty,enhancingcustomersatisfactionandengagement.Thisresearchpaperaimstoreviewthis emergingconcept,itsliteratureandtheoreticaldevelopmentalongwithahighlightonthepresent applicationsofgamificationandtheirroleinenhancingengagementandmotivationoftheusers.
